The Sainte Maxime cave
Approximately 1 hour return from the nautical base. The traces of smoke still show the presence of paleolitic men in the region
The Gaspard cave of Besse
At about 1h30 round trip from the nautical base.Gaspard de Besse born in 1757 in Besse s / Issole (var) great brigand of the 18th century fortified several caves in the verdon to hide there.
Bat Cave
About 2 hours from the water sports center. Many protected species of bats are present as the murine of capaccini or the small horseshoe bat. This cave is therefore one of the breeding grounds for these species.
The Cave of the Bear
After the entrance of Lake Esparron (approximately 3:15 round trip). It was once used as a cache of arms during the 1939-1945 war for resistance.
