Discover the Quinson Lake
As the name suggests, Lake Quinson is located on the edge of the village of 420 inhabitants of the same name. It is a dam lake, located in the lower part of the Gorges du Verdon and which serves as dividing line between the department of Var (83), to which it belongs, and that of the Alpes de Haute Provence (04).
Less touristy than its peers Lake Esparron or the famous
Lake St. Croix, Lake Quinson has an authentic charm and a wild side that many nature lovers prefer. There are 9 km of gorges to visit.
There is a recreational base on the lake shore side Montmeyan: the place is ideal for a family lunch break.
